Participant Info
Over 400 applications received!
Thank you to all those who applied to participate in Overture 2012. We have received over 400 applications. It will take us a little longer than anticipated to go through them all, so successful participants will now be contacted in early April.
What is Overture 2012?
Overture 2012 refers to two dance performances at the Royal Albert Hall that YOU could be in on 1 & 2 November 2008.
World-renowned choreographer Royston Maldoom will create a new piece of contemporary dance for his ‘London dance company’ made up of everyone chosen for this project. Previous dance experience (in any style) is useful, but not strictly necessary. The main thing we ask for is ENTHUSIASM and COMMITMENT!
This project is free-of-charge to its 120 participants with a small subsidy available for travel costs.
